Loupe 0.1.0
Released 1 August 2026 — on GitHub
The first published build.
- Resource browsing for built-in kinds and custom resources, the latter resolved through API discovery and rendered with the printer columns their CRDs declare
- Detail views for pods, nodes and namespaces — containers and termination reasons, allocated CPU and memory against allocatable, quota utilisation and remaining finalizers
- Helm releases read from the release Secrets: values, rendered
manifests, notes and revision history, with no
helmbinary involved - YAML editing, writing back with a full replace so a concurrent modification is rejected by the API server rather than silently overwritten
- A design system of glass surfaces with native window vibrancy, and a light, dark or system-following theme preference
- A release pipeline building macOS, Linux and Windows, and a Homebrew cask
Known limitations at the time
Section titled “Known limitations at the time”Deletion, exec, multiple simultaneous clusters and owner-reference
navigation were all absent. Every one of them shipped in
0.1.5.
macOS builds were ad-hoc signed rather than notarised, so Gatekeeper blocked the first launch. That was fixed in 0.1.2.
